Who doesn't love a rainbow? So, while arranging your hanging clothes, it has always been super easy to find a specific item if you hang the same or similar color with same color. Let's say you're in the mood to wear blue, you'll save a boat load of time getting ready in the morning if you can access that item quickly. How many times have you been late because you couldn't find a certain item? Give this simple method a try and let me know in the comments how much time you save.

Pile folding is probably my favorite way to fold. It not only maximizes closet space but it's also much easier to see what you have. Items that work well pile folded are; bulky sweaters, sweatshirts, jeans, workout leggings (yoga pants) etc. If you don't have cubbies but you have shelves, using acrylic shelf dividers helps to keep your piles neat.

File folding has made it big around organizing circles in the last few years when Marie Kondo coined the phrase, "file folding". Everywhere you look, you'll see home organizers on Pinterest, IG reels, and Tiktoc showing off their style. But honestly, I've been doing this type of folding since I was a young teen. This type of folding is especially perfect in drawers. If you have kids, it's the best way for them to see what they have.
